Schubertreise, meaning 'Schubert journey', is one of the most ambitious classical music projects ever undertaken: the performance of the complete Schubert songs by one singer and one pianist. Begun in 2013, Irish bass Conor Biggs and Belgian pianist Michel Stas are currently performing the series in the National Concert Hall, Dublin. Schubertreise comprises 37 recitals and lasts thirteen years. Thirty-three programmes have been presented to date. The series ends in May 2026.
